Sayed Abazar Wahedi, originally from Afghanistan, grew up in Qom, Iran, where he spent over 12 years studying Islamic theology. His family, with ties to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), has a legacy of Islamic scholarship and community leadership. After completing advanced studies, including Dars Kharij, Sayed Abazar earned a master’s degree in film and television writing and directing from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Now the Resident Alim at the Islamic Center of Fatimiyyah in Hayward, California, he inspires as a Quran teacher and Hafiz, known for his heartfelt recitations and engagement with youth. Through Beacon of Guidance, he highlights the transformative stories of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, promoting unity and compassion.

An award-winning Quran reciter and advocate for philanthropy, Sayed Abazar supports charitable initiatives in California, combining his faith, leadership, and creative talents to inspire and connect communities.
